About the Role

We're looking for a Marketer who is passionate about email marketing, newsletters, and digital content. This role will be responsible for creating and curating high-quality content related to email marketing trends, maintaining our email database, and fostering engagement across key platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Research and Reporting

  • Use our product to conduct research and analyze the email marketing habits of various industry sectors. Create summary reports on a monthly/quarterly basis for key sectors.

  • LinkedIn Newsletter Management

  • Write and publish a LinkedIn newsletter focused on email marketing design trends, examples, and insights.

  • LinkedIn Engagement & Outreach

  • Follow and subscribe to key influencers on LinkedIn related to the email space.

  • Engage on their posts with likes, short comments, and potentially intro messages.

  • Identify LinkedIn newsletters related to email/marketing topics and reach out to let them know about our tool for marketers with the goal of getting a mention.

  • Reddit & Community Engagement

  • Post, comment, and oversee our /email examples Reddit group focused on great email marketing examples.

  • Engage in discussions, share curated email designs, and provide insights.

  • Brand/Company, Email Type, Taxonomy Management

  • Oversee the organization of tracked companies' emails, ensuring they are accurately tagged and categorized.

  • Help refine how we analyze and present email marketing trends.

Required Skills

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to research and analyze email designs and think of engaging creative topics for email and newsletter content.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Reddit, and social marketing.
  • Experience reaching out to influencers for links/mentions.
