Position Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Developer to join our growing tech team. This role is ideal for someone early in their development career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow. You’ll collaborate closely with our support and development teams to maintain documentation, resolve bugs, support backend systems, and develop minor feature enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain clear and thorough development documentation.
  • Collaborate with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, including payment-related challenges.
  • Address and resolve bugs reported by users or QA.
  • Assist in developing and testing minor platform enhancements and features.
  • Learn and support backend systems and infrastructure under the guidance of senior developers.
  • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile development workflows.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript (preferably TypeScript).
  • Familiarity with Vue.js or similar front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
  • Experience with Node.js, Express, and backend JavaScript technologies.
  • Basic understanding of SQL databases (experience with Sequelize is a plus).
  • Experience using Git/GitHub for version control.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudFront.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
  • Understanding of infrastructure automation tools like Pulumi, Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Ansible.
  • Exposure to unit testing and documenting test cases.
