Nexl is the fast-growing LegalTech startup on a mission to elevate the business of law.

Our platform, purpose-built for law firms, brings together CRM, collaboration, and client intelligence in one solution — empowering lawyers, marketers, and BD teams to deepen relationships, accelerate growth, and win more high-value work.

We’re backed by top global VCs, recognised as one of Australia’s fastest-growing tech companies, and expanding rapidly across Australia, the US, LATAM, and Europe. And we’re just getting started.

As a Junior QA Tester, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our platform is reliable, high-quality, and seamless for users. This is a fantastic early-career opportunity for someone eager to grow, be mentored by an experienced Engineering team, and build strong QA foundations in a fast-paced, product-led startup.

You’ll be hands-on in testing and improving our platform, working closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to spot issues early and raise the bar on quality.

What You’ll Own & Do

  • Plan and execute detailed manual exploratory testing across web-based features
  • Write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and supporting documentation
  • Identify, report, and track bugs, ensuring reports are actionable and high quality
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to provide early QA feedback
  • Use browser developer tools to help debug and validate frontend behavior
  • Prioritise and manage multiple testing tasks to keep projects on track
  • Contribute ideas to improve how we test and build faster, better QA workflows

What We're Looking For:

  • Some hands-on experience with QA testing — whether from a junior role, internship, bootcamp, or personal project
  • Confidence using browser developer tools for debugging and troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to write high-quality bug reports and documentation
  • Self-motivated and organised — you can work through long tasks with consistency
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

⭐️ Bonus if you also have:

  • A basic understanding of Agile, dev workflows, or software development concepts
  • Interest in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
  • A passion for tech, continuous learning, and collaborative work
