The Role

We are seeking a Junior Python Developer to support the development of AI-powered software solutions that operate at scale in the cloud. This role is ideal for someone passionate about software development, cloud engineering, and automation. You’ll contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of applications and services that leverage AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and workflow orchestration tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, well-structured Python applications for AI and automation projects
• Support the integration of cloud-native services (primarily AWS) into application workflows
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and deployment
• Assist in writing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Help design and implement workflow orchestration using tools such as Apache Airflow or Step Functions
• Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments
• Write clear documentation for code, processes, and systems

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and experience with its ecosystem (e.g., pandas, requests, FastAPI)
• Understanding of software development principles, version control (Git), and testing practices
• Familiarity with AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, ECS, Step Functions) or other cloud platforms
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Basic experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Interest in AI/ML systems and data engineering workflows
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced technical environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript (especially for cloud or full-stack development)
• Exposure to workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices
• Knowledge of basic machine learning principles or data pipelines

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday dayshift or midshift schedule

• Homebased; must have strong internet at home; Equipment is provided.
