Ciklum is looking for a Junior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team full-time in Romania.

About the role:

As a Junior Full-Stack Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a junior full-stack developer to join our team
  • You'll work primarily with React (frontend) and Python (backend), contributing to real product development while learning our tech stack
  • You'll be mentored by senior engineers and gradually take on more ownership as your experience grows

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with software development
  • Basic experience building RESTful APIs in Python
  • Exposure to at least one Python web framework (e.g., Flask, Django, or FastAPI)
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and React for frontend development
  • Understanding of version control using Git
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL or PostgreSQL)
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow in a collaborative environment
  • Intermediate level of English (spoken and written)

Desirable:

  • Exposure to container tools (e.g., Docker)
  • Basic understanding of HTTP and web architecture
  • Familiarity with Unix command line
  • Any experience with CI/CD, web scraping, or Azure is a plus
