The Big Picture:

We’re looking for a Jr. Developer to join our growing AI Solutions team. This is a remote position, but you must reside in the Kansas City, MO area for occasional in-person meetings and team events.

As a Jr. Developer, you’ll help design and build AI chatbots, digital assistants, and AI-powered co-workers. While this is an entry-level role, prior developer experience is strongly preferred. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team and interact directly with clients, so strong communication skills are a must.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and maintain AI chatbots, assistants, and business-related AI solutions.

Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Integrate AI models using provider APIs (OpenAI, Azure, etc.).

Participate in team meetings and agile development cycles.

Use project management and source control tools to keep work organized.

Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

Stay up to date with new technologies and AI trends.

Meet project deadlines and contribute both independently and as part of a team.

Position Requirements

Required:

Must reside in the Kansas City, MO area.

1+ year of development experience (internships and demonstrated school projects count).

Proficient in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.

Experience with source control (e.g., Git).

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Comfortable learning new technologies quickly.

Preferred:

Experience With Azure (or Other Cloud Platforms).

Familiarity with Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.).

Previous exposure to AI provider APIs (OpenAI, Azure AI, etc.).

Experience with project management tools.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 (based on experience)
