Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability for our applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and related technologies.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend systems.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of applications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Should be strong on Java/J2EE platform.
- Solid core Java 8 hand-on experience, multi-threading exposure.
- In-depth proficiency in Java, Spring and related frameworks.
- Candidate should be able to do deployments and configuring engines for best performance (Should have exposure to performance testing and fine-tuning application).
- Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Should be part of the agile / scrum teams.
- Must be good at communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures and various compatibility requirements.
- Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements.
