About The Role

Bloomberg is seeking a talented Project-Based Graphic Designer to support its high-profile live events and summits. This fully remote role involves creating on-screen graphics and visual materials that align with event branding and editorial guidelines. The designer will collaborate closely with production, content, editorial, and creative teams in the weeks leading up to events, and must be available to manage last-minute graphic changes during live broadcasts.

Responsibilities

• Design and populate on-screen graphics for live event sessions, including presentation slides and other visual content
• Develop core graphic templates based on provided design toolkits and editorial guidelines to ensure a consistent visual identity
• Work with production teams 2–3 weeks before events to build event-day slides in line with the Run of Show (ROS) and editorial content plan
• Provide real-time graphic updates and additions during live broadcasts while maintaining accuracy and composure
• Ensure all graphics adhere to brand standards and support the editorial narrative, maintaining style consistency across all visuals
• Participate in pre-event rehearsals to test and refine graphics integration and timing according to the ROS

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of graphic design experience within the live event industry, preferably in media or broadcast environments
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), After Effects, Apple Keynote, Figma, and Google Workspace tools
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse graphic styles and live event or broadcast graphic projects
• Ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively across multiple time zones on a project basis
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with producers, editors, and stakeholders in a fast-paced setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt quickly during live events
