This organization is a leader in continuous controls monitoring (CCM) — delivering fast, efficient outcomes by helping organizations bridge security, risk, and compliance through streamlined controls lifecycle management. Their modern platform accelerates certification timelines by up to 90% and slashes audit prep time by up to 60%, setting a new standard in the GRC space.

We are currently seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the team.

  • Please note: The first step in the interview process requires candidates to join a Microsoft Teams meeting with their video turned on.**

This is a full-time, permanent position that can telecommute. Travel once a quarter to Knoxville, TN will be required**.**

Job Responsibilities:

Feature Development & Optimization:

  • Design, develop, and deploy new features using .NET Core (C#), Angular, and Python
  • Collaborate with team members on full-stack architecture decisions and feature implementation
  • Troubleshoot bugs and optimize both frontend and backend performance

Project Contribution & Agile Teamwork:

  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and stand-ups
  • Take initiative to continuously improve code quality, system stability, and user experience
  • Work independently in a remote-first environment while actively engaging with a distributed team

Learning & Documentation:

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in software engineering
  • Contribute to internal technical documentation and process improvement discussions

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • OR no degree with 7+ years of professional experience in .NET C# and Angular
  • Minimum 3 years of direct software development experience in Python
  • Hands-on experience contributing to web applications (professional or academic)
  • Solid understanding of CS fundamentals like data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
  • Familiarity with Agile project management practices such as Sprints and Scrums
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Must complete a background check and random drug testing.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working successfully in a remote position for 2+ years
  • Training or certifications in Angular, .NET Core, Python, or Microsoft Azure
  • Direct experience with the Django framework
  • Comfort working across modern web development tools, libraries, and patterns
  • Enthusiasm for clean code, testing, and continuous learning
