About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer with a frontend-first mindset (approximately 60% frontend, 40% backend) to build and maintain scalable web applications using modern technologies such as React.js, Django, and Python.

You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and developers to deliver seamless user experiences and efficient backend systems, contributing to the platform’s scalability, feature development, and integration of tools like CI/CD pipelines. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, influence architectural decisions, and shape a high-impact, user-focused platform.

Responsibilities

  • Redesign and modernize core user interfaces using React.js, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, and modern JavaScript.
  • Lead frontend development efforts to build intuitive, responsive, and accessible web applications.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless API integrations using Django (Python).
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and scaling strategies for the platform.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and DevOps workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, and Customer Support teams.
  • Champion best practices in UI/UX, design systems, and software development life cycles.
  • Handle performance tuning, bug fixes, and enhancements across frontend and backend components.

Competencies And Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or Frontend Developer with backend capabilities
  • Proven experience implementing and scaling platforms using React.js
  • Strong grasp of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and component-based architecture
  • Working experience with Django/Python, including API integrations
  • Prior experience in agile startup environments and a willingness to work collaboratively and iteratively
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and React component libraries such as Material UI or Chakra UI
  • Proven ability to build user interfaces using React component libraries such as Material UI or Chakra UI

Nice-to-Have

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with legacy code (e.g., jQuery) and experience in energy or SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and modern deployment pipelines (Docker, CI/CD)
