Fullstack Engineer (React + Node.js) - Remote (US & LATAM Candidates)

We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer experienced in modern JavaScript/TypeScript development based in the U.S. or Latin America for a full-time contract opportunity. This is a 100% remote role with flexibility to overlap U.S. Central Time (CT) hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain end-to-end web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver user-facing features and APIs
  • Design scalable backend services and database models with PostgreSQL
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices
  • Integrate with third-party services and internal microservices using REST and GraphQL
  • Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and agile ceremonies (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Deploy and monitor services in cloud environments using AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Continuously improve application performance, security, and developer experience

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience building web applications with React and Node.js
  • Strong TypeScript skills across both frontend and backend codebases
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with RESTful API and GraphQL design and consumption
  • Experience deploying applications using Docker and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
  • Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests with tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Supertest
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills in remote settings

Bonus

  • Experience with modern state management libraries (Zustand, Redux Toolkit, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Prisma or other modern ORMs
  • Exposure to serverless architecture and AWS services like API Gateway or DynamoDB
  • Knowledge of authentication systems (OAuth2, JWT, Cognito)
  • Experience working in fast-paced startups or agile product teams

Why Apply?

  • Work with modern tools and frameworks powering real-world apps used by global users
  • Join a collaborative, remote-first engineering team that values code quality and velocity
  • 100% remote work with flexible hours tailored to your timezone
  • Continuous learning through mentorship, training stipends, and peer reviews
