Full Stack Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Web Developer with AI experience to join our hedge fund’s technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that power our financial systems. This role requires

deep knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as expertise in

information architecture to ensure robust system performance and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop, maintain and integrate web applications that support our financial

operations and trading platforms.

● Work on both client-side and server-side development using modern frameworks and

programming languages.

● Design and implement efficient APIs, ensuring seamless integration between

systems.

● Architect and optimize database structures to enhance performance and scalability.

● Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability in a high-performance financial

environment.

● Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and testing

processes.

● Utilize cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy, manage, and scale applications

effectively.

● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system efficiency and uptime.

Required Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.

● 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.

● Solid experience in front-end and back-end development using Node.js, Typescript,

CSS, HTML or similar frameworks.

● Expertise in database management (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and information

architecture principles, API design, and system architecture.

● Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.

● Proficiency in version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools.

● Understanding of security best practices, authentication, and data protection

methods.

It's a plus if you have:

● Experience in vibe coding and defining, fine-tuning the tech stack, optimising code for

performance and designing efficient workflows.

● Experience in the financial technology sector or hedge fund environments.

● Familiarity with real-time data processing, WebSockets, and event-driven

architectures.

● Exposure to AI/ML development tools and data-driven applications.

● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
