Full Stack Energy (FSE) is a boutique development division of ResourceKraft and we are all-in on energy. FSE collaborate with businesses and organisations globally to assist them create sophisticated technology solutions that will enable them to fulfil their commitments to sustainability and decarbonisation, while concurrently improving our client’s advantage. Every day, our software and hardware solutions are controlling and monitoring electrical loads (like Electric Vehicle chargers), energy storage systems (like grid-scale batteries) and renewable energy systems (for example, solar and wind).

Full Stack Energy is recruiting a passionate Full Stack Engineer to join our small team. This role is available both hybrid and remote.

Interested Applicants Must Have a Minimum Of 3 Years Full Time Development Experience And Along With Strong Working Knowledge Of Some Of The Following Technologies

  • Python (essential)

  • Developing for Linux based systems / CLI knowledge (essential)

  • JavaScript / TypeScript (Angular, Vue or React)

  • Cloud based architectures (AWS, Azure, Google cloud)

  • Databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Influx)

  • Knowledge and use of SQL

  • Experience with Docker based application development

  • Use of MQTT/RabbitMQ, WebSockets, REST based APIs

General Requirements

  • Experience of designing and developing efficient, extensible, and secure applications
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
  • Proactive approach to working with customers and solving problems creatively
  • Ability to work well and effectively with colleagues and customers - both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communications skills, including not being afraid to speak up and challenge technical decisions when necessary and being able to speak with authority and knowledge of your own subject area

Distinct Advantages

  • Previous experience working on the software side with Electric Vehicles (EVs), or in the automotive or energy management / efficiency domains
  • Previous experience working with EV charging and/or backend protocols (OCPP) and EV smart charging implementations and algorithms
