About The Role
LMI is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer (Front-End) to join their core application team. In this role, you will work on mission-driven applications used by real operators in the field, enhancing both front-end UI components and backend logic. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on creating cutting-edge RFID solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD). If you are passionate about working on innovative technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering impactful solutions, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
- Build new features in Vue.js using reusable components and maintain clean, efficient code.
- Support backend logic using .NET Core and SQL Server databases.
- Integrate with APIs and manage data flows across the full technology stack.
- Collaborate with product, design, and DevSecOps teams to deliver features quickly and securely.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests as part of a Test-Driven Development (TDD) workflow.
- Troubleshoot bugs, optimize performance, and ensure accessibility and compliance with standards (e.g., Section 508).
- Participate in design and development reviews, providing Vue.js expertise and implementation insights.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in Vue.js, including component-based architecture, Vuetify, and state management using Vuex or Pinia.
- Experience with .NET Core/C# and building RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, with preference for SQL Server.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), CI/CD pipelines, and secure deployment practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Active Secret or TS clearance preferred).
Bonus Points For
- Experience deploying applications in secure environments (e.g., DoD, IL5+, FedRAMP).
- Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and accessibility best practices.
- Experience with Git, Entity Framework, LINQ, and test frameworks like NUnit.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, AWS, or Scrum.
- Prior experience supporting government contracts or defense customers.
- Startup environment experience.
