Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Build, optimize, and maintain back-end services and APIs using PHP 8.x and Laravel, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests.
• Database Management: Design, manage, and optimize MySQL/MariaDB and MongoDB (NoSQL) databases, including writing complex queries and improving overall database performance.
• Front-End Development: Implement and maintain the front-end of applications using JavaScript, JQuery, VueJS, and preprocessors like Sass or Less. Ensure smooth integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• API Development and Integration: Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications and integrate third-party services using these APIs.
• Automation and Workflow Optimization: Leverage automation tools to streamline workflows and enhance development efficiency.
• Version Control: Manage and collaborate on code development using Git (preferably with Bitbucket), ensuring clean and effective version control practices.
• Problem-Solving and Debugging: Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues, delivering timely resolutions while maintaining system stability.
• Cloud Integration: Utilize cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for application deployment and data management while following cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, and effectively communicate with stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficient in PHP 8.x and Laravel framework, with strong back-end development skills.
• Solid understanding of MySQL/MariaDB and MongoDB (NoSQL) databases, including query optimization.
• Front-end development experience, particularly with VueJS and JavaScript (including JQuery).
• Familiarity with preprocessing tools like npm and build tools like Webpack.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and third-party API integration.
• Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of Git for version control (Bitbucket experience preferred).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to utilize AI coding tools.
