What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team in building a next-generation SaaS newsroom control system. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing and implementing an intuitive, high-performance platform that supports real-time content management, workflow automation, and video streaming for media professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable, user-friendly applications with a focus on frontend and backend functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement features for a newsroom control system that meets the demands of media environments, including live video integration, editorial workflows, and content distribution.
  • Work with AWS services, including AWS Elemental MediaLive, MediaConvert, and MediaStore, to create efficient and reliable video streaming experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver an integrated and polished user experience.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with an emphasis on performance and security.
  • Contribute to CI/CD practices, automated testing, and code reviews to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Stay updated on emerging frontend and backend technologies to incorporate best practices and improve our application stack.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in full stack development, preferably in SaaS applications or media-related products.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular for frontend development.
  • Backend Skills: Strong experience with server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java) and databases (SQL or NoSQL).
  • Cloud Skills: Familiarity with AWS, particularly in media services (MediaLive, MediaConvert, MediaPackage, MediaStore) and general cloud infrastructure.
  • Web Development: Solid understanding of RESTful API design, responsive design principles, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
  • Knowledge of video streaming standards and media workflows.
  • Familiarity with content delivery networks (CDNs) and optimizing video and media delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
