The ideal candidate will be experienced Full Stack Developer to join our agile team on a fast-paced, time-critical web application project. This role involves building both the responsive frontend using Angular 18 and Kendo UI and the backend Web APIs using .NET Core 8 and Entity Framework. The candidate will be expected to follow industry best practices in security, accessibility (including testing via Lambda Test), and cross-browser compatibility.

About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our agile team on a fast-paced, time-critical web application project. This role involves building both the responsive frontend using Angular 18 and Kendo UI and the backend Web APIs using .NET Core 8 and Entity Framework. The candidate will be expected to follow industry best practices in security, accessibility (including testing via LambdaTest), and cross-browser compatibility.

Responsibilities

  • Frontend Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular 18 and Kendo UI, ensuring mobile and cross-device compatibility.
  • Backend Development: Build and maintain secure, scalable .NET Core 8 Web APIs using C# and Entity Framework Core.
  • Full Stack Integration: Ensure seamless integration between frontend components and backend services.
  • Database Interaction: Work with SQL Server, including writing stored procedures, optimizing queries, and managing schema changes.
  • Accessibility & Cross-Browser Testing: Use LambdaTest to ensure accessibility compliance and cross-browser functionality across devices and platforms.
  • Security Best Practices: Adhere to OWASP Top 10 standards and implement secure coding practices throughout the stack.
  • Testing: Write and maintain unit and integration tests for both frontend and backend components.
  • Agile Development: Actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and collaborative task execution.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Use TFS (Team Foundation Server) for version control and collaborate on build/release processes for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, contribute to documentation, and uphold high-quality development standards.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Technical Skills

  • Frontend:
  • Expertise in Angular 18+ and Kendo UI with strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience building responsive web applications optimized for mobile and desktop.

Backend

  • Proficiency in .NET Core 8, C#, and RESTful API development.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core for data access.

Database

  • Proficient in SQL Server including T-SQL, performance tuning, and database design.
  • Accessibility & Testing:
  • Familiarity with Lambda Test for cross-browser and accessibility testing.
  • Understanding of WCAG guidelines and best practices for accessible UI.

Security

  • Practical understanding of OWASP Top 10 security principles.

Dev Tools

  • Experience using TFS (Team Foundation Server) for version control and work item tracking.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile tools such as Jira.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay current with emerging technologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience deploying web applications to IIS or containerized environments (e.g., Docker).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and user-centric development.

Additional Provisions

  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance
  • Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
  • All candidates must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident only.
  • Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
  • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
