This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer (JavaScript and TypeScript) to join our team.

Responsibilites:

Build & Ship: Write high-quality, scalable code for new features across web and native platforms.
Maintain & Improve: Refactor and optimize legacy code for better performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve bugs and technical issues quickly and efficiently.
Collaborate: Work closely with fellow engineers and product managers to design, scope, and implement new features.
Mentor: Support and coach junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Innovate: Stay current with emerging front-end trends and suggest ways to improve tooling and workflows.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Deep experience with React and React Native (via Expo).
Comfortable consuming and working with REST APIs
Familiar with modern testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and Testing Library.
Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Awareness of security best practices in software development.
Experience with performance optimization for front-end applications.

Bonus Skills:

Familiarity with Next.js and Vercel.
Backend development experience in Go or Node.js.
Scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.).
Containerization knowledge with tools like Docker.
Experience collaborating with design teams using Figma.

Experience & Education:
3+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (not required).
