Role Description

We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer Intern (unpaid) who is passionate about startups and excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on learning by doing, enjoys tackling complex problems, and values collaboration in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

As a Frontend Software Engineer Intern, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our platform. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building new features to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Refactoring existing features for better performance and scalability.
  • Fixing bugs and improving overall system reliability.
  • Assisting with testing and ensuring high-quality deployments.
  • Helping to launch features into production.

This is a hands-on role where your contributions will have a direct impact on the product and the users it serves.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and platforms like GitHub.
  • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Understanding or exposure to Back-End Web Development
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Enthusiasm for startups and a desire to contribute meaningfully to a growing team.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., CloudFront, S3, Lambda, API Gateway) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Previous work or internship experience is preferred.
