Frontend Developer

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Designers: Translate final mockups into production-ready interfaces.
• Build with NextJS: Develop and optimize NextJS (pages) applications, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Mobile-Focused Role: Prioritize responsive, mobile-first design strategies.
• Multi-Platform Role: Ensure seamless user experiences across both mobile and desktop.
• Write Efficient Code: Produce high-quality, lightweight JavaScript/TypeScript with minimal bloat.
• Leverage Modern Front-End Tools: Use SCSS modules for styling, React Query for data fetching, and Zustand for shared state.
• Integrate with REST APIs and JSON: Work with back-end teams for efficient data exchange.
• Embrace Best Practices: Implement new technologies, optimize workflows, and maintain coding standards.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser compatibility issues, and other front-end challenges.
• Collaborate on Cross-Functional Projects: Coordinate with back-end developers on continuous integration, deployment, and version control.

What You Need to Succeed

• 2+ years developing NextJS (pages)-based applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6), HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with React/React Native, SCSS Modules, React Query, and Zustand.
• Strong grasp of mobile responsiveness and/or desktop optimization (depending on role).
• Familiarity with MongoDB and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Agile practices: comfortable with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and rapid iteration.
• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
