About The Role

We are hiring a Senior/Lead Front-End Engineer to join our fast-growing team. This role is perfect for someone with strong frontend engineering experience and excellent design sensibilities. You’ll play a critical role in building intuitive, performant user interfaces and SDKs that drive adoption of our platform by developers and video-based AI product creators.

You’ll be a key player in Livepeer AI’s product expansion, designing and delivering front-end experiences and interfaces that empower thousands of developers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript
  • Develop clean, intuitive user interfaces with a strong focus on usability
  • Lead the development and maintenance of JavaScript SDKs for developer integrations
  • Collaborate closely with backend and cross-functional teams on product design and delivery
  • Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and responsiveness
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers
  • Stay informed of emerging frontend technologies and apply them where appropriate
  • Work independently and take ownership of features from concept to deployment

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of frontend development experience, with proven UI/UX design ability
  • Proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with data modeling and database integration for front-end apps
  • Strong portfolio of independently designed and shipped user interfaces
  • Experience developing and maintaining JavaScript SDKs
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional, remote-first team environment

Preferred

  • Background as a founder or early-stage engineer in a developer tools company
  • Familiarity with video streaming technologies or video-AI platforms
  • Experience with performance optimization in low-latency, high-throughput environments
  • Knowledge of AWS, CDNs, Raffi, or similar cloud and edge technologies
  • Strong developer community presence or open-source contributions
