The Role

We’re looking for a Rockstar Front End Developer who can craft lightning-fast, responsive UIs-and who feels just as comfortable building custom WordPress themes and plugins as they do working in ReactJS creating Gutenberg Blocks. If you thrive on turning designs into seamless digital experiences and love building with modern tools like Bootstrap, Tailwind, and Docker, let’s talk.

You’ll take ownership of projects from start to finish-working closely with our design and backend teams to deliver beautiful, performant, and scalable websites and apps. Whether it’s a custom WordPress build or a React-based front end powered by a headless CMS, you’ll be hands-on every step of the way.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and manage 30+ Web sites with changing priorities.
  • Build modern, user-friendly websites and apps using hands-on development with WordPress, Gutenberg blocks, ReactJS.
  • Hands-on development of custom WordPress themes, templates, and Gutenberg blocks using HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, and React.
  • Style interfaces with Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap, ensuring responsive, accessible designs across all devices.
  • Work with ACF, custom post types, and taxonomies to structure dynamic WordPress content.
  • Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, and handle client-server data flows cleanly.
  • Optimize performance with caching, asset minification, lazy loading, and CDN best practices.
  • Debug and resolve frontend and backend issues in WordPress and React-based environments.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver on-time, high-quality work.
  • Contribute to deployment workflows using Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in front end development, including deep hands-on WordPress development expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Experience with ReactJS.
  • Comfortable building responsive UIs with Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap.
  • Skilled in custom Gutenberg block development using React.
  • Deep understanding of ACF, CPTs, and modern WordPress theme architecture.
  • Experience with headless WordPress setups and decoupled front ends.
  • Familiar with ElasticSearch, Docker, Git, and local development tools like DDEV or Local.
  • Proficient with performance tuning, SEO best practices, and accessibility compliance.
  • Comfortable working in server environments (Apache/Nginx) and debugging deployment issues.
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and a drive to build great user experiences from the ground up.
