As a PowerPoint (PPT) Graphic Designer**, your role** will be to create visually compelling and professionally designed presentations for a variety of projects, including scientific and technical content. You will utilize your design expertise to develop engaging PowerPoint slides, incorporating animation, graphics, and layout techniques to elevate the visual storytelling. Additionally, you will design supplementary materials like flyers, social media banners, infographics, posters, and graphical abstracts using PowerPoint. Your work will involve understanding client briefs, crafting design concepts, and delivering polished presentations that align with the client’s expectations and branding guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations with advanced animations, transitions, and layouts to effectively communicate key messages.
  • Create graphical abstracts, flyers, social media banners, infographics, and posters in PowerPoint, ensuring consistency across different formats.
  • Understand client briefs and objectives, translating requirements into visually engaging presentations and graphical abstracts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content writers and marketing consultants, to enhance the visual narrative.
  • Ensure adherence to design principles, maintaining a clean and professional look across all deliverables.
  • Review peers and freelancers’ outputs, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and delivery-readiness.

Qualifications And Prerequisites

  • Expertise in PowerPoint, including advanced skills in animation, transitions, and slide templates.
  • Experience creating a range of visual content, such as presentations, graphical abstracts, infographics, social media banners, and flyers.
  • Familiarity with design principles like balance, alignment, contrast, and hierarchy.
  • Basic skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva or Mind The Graph are a plus.
  • Prior experience with Japanese, Chinese, and/or Korean content, is an added advantage.
