Experienced Design Associate- Market Insights & Analytics Team

West Monroe is looking to add an Experienced Design Associate to Market Insights & Analytics Team in our Life Sciences Practice.

Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, the Presentation Designer/Design Associate will work with our Insight Consultants to create PowerPoint reports that take Quantitative and Qualitative data and present them with clarity and impact. They will produce strong design solutions while consistently maintaining brand identity throughout each report.

We are looking for a confident designer to step up in the world of Data Visualization, in a fast paced, fun, and dynamic team. Our ideal applicant is self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and inspiring.

Position Responsibilities

• Translating complex messaging and stories into elegant and easy-to-understand visuals, thanks to a deep understanding of presentation design, graphic design, and design systems.
• Organizing data visual hierarchy and customizing infographics and imagery as needed.
• Incorporating design best practices with a passion for staying current with new design trends.
• Assisting with the maintenance of asset library/templates for scalable design solutions.
• Supporting the Design Manager to develop and strengthen the ‘design culture’ of the agency.

Position Qualifications / Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing design, graphic design, or a related field.
• Must have graphic design portfolio that demonstrates strong understanding and application of layout, color, typography, and iconography
• Proficiency of PowerPoint as a storytelling design tool to delight and inspire
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A problem-solving mindset, and the ability to think outside the box
• Can juggle multiple projects simultaneously to assist in department workflow
• Can work collaboratively amongst cross-functional teams.
• Can share and receive feedback on design direction, as well as learns from teammates and stakeholders
• Ability to quickly adopt and understand new technology and tools
• Passionate about the creative process, from concepting to final deliverable.
