Engineering Intern – Summer 2025

Remote (PST-based applicants preferred)

Duration: 10 weeks (June - August)

Join the Engineering team at Influential and gain hands-on experience building the technology that powers campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world. This is a paid internship where you'll collaborate directly with seasoned engineers and contribute to real product development projects that use AI-driven insights and influencer audience data.

Our proprietary platform helps brands connect with the right creators, and we're continuously evolving as we integrate with new tools and expand our data capabilities. This summer, you'll be part of initiatives that involve backend development, database work, and enhancing what we can show and deliver about every influencer in our system.

What You'll Do:

  • Work on backend development projects to support platform integrations and data enhancements
  • Participate in pair programming sessions with senior engineers to learn modern problem-solving approaches
  • Help expand our data systems to improve visibility into influencer and audience insights
  • Contribute to internal tools and features that integrate with larger systems and partners
  • Collaborate with a distributed team in a remote environment
  • Get hands-on exposure to how a modern engineering department runs day-to-day

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience with web technologies and familiarity with languages like Python and JavaScript

  • Enthusiastic about data-driven engineering and backend systems

  • Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to manage your time in a remote setting

  • Strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively and asking thoughtful questions

  • Physically based on the west coast
