Description
The Digital Art Director is responsible for the digital design strategy for Anastasia Beverly Hills across all online ecommerce platforms, creating visually compelling, high-performing digital assets. This role is key to shaping seamless, innovative user experiences that reinforce brand identity and drive business results. In close collaboration with brand marketing, digital merchandising, product, and development teams, the Digital Art Director will lead the production of graphics, motion assets, wireframes (for homepages and landing pages), email designs, and dynamic ad content. This role balances editorial vision with performance-driven design.
Essential Job Functions
Digital Art & Design Strategy:
- Lead the visual strategy for digital content, ensuring all creative assets strike the right balance between brand storytelling, aesthetic appeal, and measurable business performance.
- Develop innovative, on-brand digital assets across web, mobile app, email marketing, and paid media channels—tailored to platform-specific best practices while optimizing for engagement and conversion.
- Collaborate closely with the CRM team to oversee the design and execution of compelling email journeys and broadcast sends, ensuring each touchpoint aligns with brand aesthetics and drives performance.
- Design and iterate assets for loyalty programs, replenishment journeys, and SMS campaigns to support customer retention and increase repeat purchase rate.
Homepage and Landing Page Wireframing & Prototyping
- Design and wireframe CMS-compatible homepage and landing page layouts.
- Integrate rich content elements including video, interactive modules, and editorial storytelling to create immersive experiences.
- Translate user insights into actionable design layouts that support marketing objectives and campaign KPIs.
UX/UI Ownership and Optimization
- Develop and implement new UI components across web and app, such as navigation elements, content modules, and micro-interactions, to elevate the user journey.
- Apply user-centered design principles to improve customer flows, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and visual consistency across platforms.
- Partner with the UX research and analytics teams to interpret user behavior, heatmaps, and session recordings to inform design updates.
- Continuously test, measure, and iterate on design decisions—such as CTA placement, content hierarchy, and PDP module layouts—to reduce friction and enhance conversion rates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with eCommerce, performance marketing, and analytics teams to ensure designs are aligned with customer acquisition goals and on-site engagement metrics.
- Collaborate in A/B testing and data analysis to refine visual strategies based on real-time performance data.
Project Management
- Manage and mentor digital creative teams with a focus on collaboration and professional development
- Foster a culture of creativity, innovation and teamwork both within your department and cross-functionally.
- Own and manage creative briefs tied to ecommerce campaigns, new product launches, and seasonal promotions; ensure alignment across brand, merchandising, and performance teams.
- Managing internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of requests
Editorial Innovation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with ecommerce, social, brand marketing teams to generate digital assets that captivate and inspire consumers.
- Lead the digital front on elevating web in becoming a digital flagship for the brand by experimenting with storytelling and integrating an editorial approach the development of digital assets.
Performance Optimization
- Partner with data analytics and ecommerce teams to leverage metrics to refine designs and improve results.
- Integrate creative testing to measure the outcomes of design/creative choices across all digital touchpoints.
Requirements
- Deep experience using Shopify, Adobe Creative Suite & Figma.
- Experience with design project management – Manage creative workflow, including prioritization, reviewing copy/graphics and the approval process.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with a start-up mentality.
- Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to take direction and work closely with team members – both within and across departments
- Self-motivated and able to work independently

Anastasia Beverly Hills offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company. The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $100,000 - $130,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role is bonus eligible.
