TownSq is hiring a Design Lead!

We re looking for a passionate, user-centered designer to take on a strategic leadership role within a global squad. As a Design Leader, you ll co-lead alongside the GPM and EM to deliver impactful and sustainable experiences for TownSq, while helping to elevate the role of Design in both product strategy and company culture. In this role, you ll help shape the future of our platform, with a focus on designing solutions that scale through smart automation and greater operational efficiency.

Were seeking someone who can lead, mentor, and inspire designers at various levels, strengthening a mature, collaborative, and impact-driven design culture. This role requires strategic vision, strong communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders, and close collaboration with engineering and product teams to drive decisions based on real business impact.

Key Responsabilities

  • Co-lead the tribe alongside the GPM and EM, ensuring alignment on priorities and execution rituals;
  • Support, mentor, and provide ongoing feedback to the design team within the tribe;
  • Lead strategic sessions to define product vision and roadmap;
  • Drive critical design projects and/or organizational Design Ops initiatives;
  • Facilitate co-creation sessions, user testing, and workshops with stakeholders;
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in high-impact deliverables for the business;
  • Represent design in company-wide strategic discussions;
  • Act as a bridge between design and teams like Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales, helping drive decisions based on data and real user needs;
  • Support and promote the growth of design team members through clear development plans.

What You Must Domain

  • Full mastery of the end-to-end design process, from discovery to delivery;
  • High fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders;
  • Degree in Design, Advertising, Communication, or related fields;
  • Ability to translate strategy into a clear and actionable product vision;
  • Experience leading design processes focused on business impact (e.g., KPIs, retention, engagement);
  • Deep knowledge of tools like Figma, discovery frameworks, product metrics, and both quantitative and qualitative research methods;
  • Proven experience leading designers and influencing product strategy;
  • Familiarity with product discovery and ideation frameworks and practices.

What You Must Know

  • Definition of key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Experience with agile development frameworks and having worked in agile environments.
