About the role

The Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and databases that ensure the efficient operation of applications. Their goal is to guarantee a scalable, secure, and high-performance system that integrates seamlessly with other services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable and secure backend APIs and services.
  • Design and implement efficient solutions that enable integration with other systems.
  • Manage relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure software quality.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Implement automated tests to ensure code stability.
  • Research and propose technological improvements to optimize systems.
  • RequirementsExperience in backend development using Python.
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as Django, FastAPI (preferred), or Flask.
  • Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and document-oriented databases (MongoDB).
  • Experience in developing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of software architecture: microservices, MVC, serverless.
  • Experience with version control using Git.
  • Knowledge of containerization and virtualization with Docker.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
  • Experience implementing unit and integration automated tests.
  • Comfortable working in the terminal and using command-line tools.
