Our client is a fast-growing U.S.-based creative agency that partners with e-commerce brands to drive growth through high-performing, conversion-focused content. Their work spans paid social, email, and video — all geared toward acquiring new customers profitably. The team is lean, collaborative, and deeply focused on measurable performance. They’re looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and ownership to the creative process—not just someone who oversees but someone who builds.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Creative Director with experience across the full performance marketing journey—someone who understands how creative connects directly to ROI. You’ll collaborate directly with the founder and lead content strategy across paid social campaigns, managing a small team while also getting into the details when needed. This role is ideal for someone with direct experience running Meta ad campaigns or who has worked closely with media buyers and performance marketers to shape creative that sells.

You will:

  • Define and lead content strategy with a strong focus on paid performance
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align on creative direction
  • Write and own creative briefs/scripts that are actionable and performance-oriented
  • Manage a team of video editors, designers, and email creatives
  • Work alongside media buyers to understand ad performance and iterate on creative
  • Review campaign data to inform future direction—what’s working, what’s not
  • Take initiative in building systems for creative testing (hooks, formats, personas)
  • Help recruit and test additional creative talent as the team grows

About You:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience in performance-focused creative roles for DTC e-commerce brands
  • Comfortable working inside Meta Ads Manager or in direct partnership with media buyers
  • Proven ability to generate concepts that convert—not just that look good
  • Strong copywriting and creative strategy skills
  • Clear communicator with excellent written/spoken English and U.S. cultural fluency
  • Track record of owning creative execution from start to finish
  • Comfortable working in startup-style environments with limited structure or support

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Hands-on video or static ad creation (can be simple or UGC style)
  • Familiarity with tools like Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Triple Whale, Northbeam, AppLovin, and Printful
  • Experience building systems to test and track creative performance
  • Past startup or entrepreneurial experience—especially if you’ve had to wear multiple hats
