Community engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hosts, serving as their day-to-day point of contact
  • Ensure host participation aligns with Airbnb brand values and reputational marketing goals
  • Lead host training sessions (live on Zoom and pre-recorded) on best practices for social media and storytelling

Social strategy & execution

  • Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to co-develop social playbooks and asset packs
  • Guide hosts in creating compelling social content that emphasizes community and economic empowerment
  • Track participation and support content optimization

Program management

  • Manage relationships and deliverables across Community, Policy, Marketing, PR, Legal and external agency
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support content amplification and reporting
  • Manage agency purchase orders and track budget across program, monitoring agency time and services

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan and support execution of local events that build Host engagement in Los Angeles, in partnership with the Community-connect and cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate the following event types:
  • Airbnb Home Host Mixer: A social gathering to reconnect Hosts to the local host Club
  • Services & Experiences Showcase: An event to connect Home Hosts with Experience and Service Hosts, fostering collaboration
  • Cross Functional Engagement Opportunities: Partner with the Supply and Policy team to bring Hosts along with changes to the platform requirements
  • Manage logistics, guest outreach, internal collaboration, and post-event storytelling opportunities

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in community management, social marketing, or grassroots organizing
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple workstreams with clear prioritization
  • Enablement experience and ability to lead trainings with grassroots communities
  • Execution-oriented, with the ability to develop and foster collaborative internal relationships
  • Program-management experience with a marketing focus
  • Strong written and oral communicator
  • Creative problem solver, able to identify real obstacles and suggest viable solutions
  • Financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, POs, and vendor contracts
  • Strong analytical, data, and troubleshooting skills

Pay Rate Range: $60-$68/hr
