Position Summary
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at VirtuAlly, you’ll be the first point of contact in our sales process, responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities. You'll play a key role in growing our pipeline by identifying and engaging healthcare decision-makers at hospitals and health systems who are ready for modern staffing solutions. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, curious, and coachable professional looking to advance their career in a high-impact, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify potential customers through outbound calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and events
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and interest in VirtuAlly’s solutions
- Research target accounts and personalize outreach based on clinical and operational challenges
- Collaborate with Sales Executives to develop account strategies and hand off qualified opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity records in our CRM (HubSpot)
- Help build and refine outreach cadences, talk tracks, and messaging strategies
- Stay up to date on trends in virtual care, healthcare staffing, and provider operations
- Consistently meet activity and pipeline generation targets
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales, BDR, or SDR role—preferably in healthcare, staffing, or SaaS
- Strong communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach
- Highly organized and process-driven with strong time management
- Self-starter with a high degree of motivation and ownership
- Comfortable with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) and outreach tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo)
- Eagerness to learn, improve, and contribute in a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience prospecting into hospitals, health systems, or IDNs
- Familiarity with clinical operations, virtual care, or health tech solutions
- Previous healthcare provider experience
- Exposure to multi-touch, multi-channel outbound prospecting strategies
