About The Role

We're looking for a talented and motivated Backend Developer with solid experience in either PHP or Node.js, who can join our growing international team and contribute to the success of diverse and exciting projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend logic for scalable web and mobile applications.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and propose architectural improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application issues and ensure high availability of backend services.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • +3 years of experience in backend development using PHP or Node.js.
  • Solid understanding of OOP, MVC, and software engineering principles.
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Work Setup Requirements

To perform this role effectively, you must have:

  • A quiet home office space to work optimally.
  • A stable internet connection (minimum 100 MB).
  • A laptop/desktop with updated software.
  • A secondary backup internet option to ensure reliability.
