Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Backend Developer with solid experience in Symfony (6.x and above) to help develop and maintain high-performance web applications. You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and maintainable backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize backend features using Symfony.
- Integrate third-party services and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts and endpoints.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices (PSR, SOLID principles).
- Participate in architectural planning and DevOps practices (Docker, CI/CD).
- Monitor production systems and resolve issues proactively.
Required Qualifications
Qualifications and requirements
- 2–3 years of professional experience with Symfony (v6.x+).
- Strong command of PHP 8+.
- Proficient in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Doctrine ORM.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of version control workflows with Git (pull requests, branching).
- Knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban).
- Familiarity with Docker.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic frontend knowledge (JavaScript/React) for full-stack collaboration.
- Experience with web security standards (OWASP, JWT, OAuth2).
- Exposure to MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch.
- Technical reading comprehension in English (for documentation).
