- Build and manage RESTful APIs for cloud services
- Apply test-driven and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to support internal platform builds
- Ensure best practices around cloud networking, load balancing, and environment security
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in backend or infrastructure-focused software engineering
- Strong proficiency in Golang for infrastructure and API development
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven background in infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies (excluding Terraform)
- Experience with unit testing and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: HTTP, routing, load balancing, etc.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with identity and access frameworks (OpenID, federated identity)
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB
- Background in cloud-based AI/ML platforms is a plus
Work Environment:
- 100% remote team distributed across U.S. time zones
- Agile, fast-moving cloud infrastructure project supporting advanced R&D use cases
