Are you passionate about backend development and ready to build real-world systems using Node.js, JavaScript, and tRPC? Join us this summer as a Backend Development Intern. We’re offering an unpaid summer internship opportunity for motivated individuals to work with our talented team on high-impact features for a growing tech platform. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers and product teams to deliver high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain REST API's using NodeJS with TRPC and TypeScript.
  • Implement new features, ensuring high performance, scalability, and clean architecture.
  • Collaborate with the product teams to implement robust and efficient backend solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.

--Requirements--

Must-Have:

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience with NodeJS and REST API development
  • Familiarity with tRPC or willingness to learn quickly
  • Familiarity with ORMs like Prisma/Drizzle/Mongoose or any other.
  • Basic knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science or a related field

Nice To Have:

  • Familiarity with Monorepo and Microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha)
  • Basic understanding of frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue)
