**About the Role**

We have an immediate opening for a seasoned Node.js Developer at Synechron. This role is pivotal in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices within our banking and payments domains. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative backend solutions that meet stringent security and compliance standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with extensive backend development experience to contribute to complex systems that drive financial technology solutions globally. The role offers exposure to cloud-native architectures, containerization, and modern development practices, with a focus on delivering value to our esteemed clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices using TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Support the implementation of cloud-native services on AWS, utilizing services such as Lambda, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Kafka (MSK).
  • Translate complex technical and business requirements into well-structured, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines by leveraging GitHub Actions, ensuring continuous integration, delivery, and deployment best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams including developers, QA engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards for security, performance, and regulatory requirements, especially within financial services.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and circuit breaker patterns.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, architecture, and deployment processes.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies, tools, and industry trends to continually improve development practices.
  • Support troubleshooting and debugging to resolve production issues swiftly.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews to foster a collaborative team environment.

**Required Qualifications**

  • 7 to 12 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend or full-stack roles.
  • Proven expertise in developing microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Kafka in production environments.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and event-driven systems.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Prior experience in financial services, payments, or regulated industries is advantageous.
  • Ability to join within 15 days or less.

**Nice to Have**

  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular using TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD) principles.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices within regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
