Back End Developer

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience at product-based companies
• Strong proficiency in Node.js
• Experience in building scalable, production-grade systems
• Solid understanding of databases, APIs, and system design
• Familiarity with modern backend frameworks and architecture
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of features
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services powering the Saral platform
• Collaborate directly with Head of Engineering, Product Lead, and Founder
• Design scalable APIs and data models
• Ensure backend systems are robust and efficient
• Contribute to architectural planning and code reviews
• Own and ship core platform features end-to-end
• Transition into a Backend Lead role within 8 to 12 months
