Experience

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with the Laravel framework and ecosystem
• Strong proficiency with testing (e.g., PHPUnit, Pest)
• Proficiency with front-end and backend development, ideally the TALL (Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, Laravel and Livewire) stack
• Proficiency with SQL, database design, and management, including scaling and optimization
• Experience with API development and consumption
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex software systems and applications.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

Nice to haves

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure,) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Experience with DevOps/Server Administration (e.g., Linux, Apache/Nginx)
• Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
