Job Summary:

They are seeking a Software Engineer in the Hybrid Networking Team to design, develop, and maintain software services for Azure Networking Services on both X64 and ARM platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and optimizing software for performance and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, and maintains software services for X64 and ARM platforms.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimizes software for performance and scalability on different hardware architectures.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues.
  • Conducts code reviews and ensures adherence to best practices.
  • Stays updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, or Python, OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Experience with cross-platform development and deployment.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Familiarity with hardware architectures (Intel and Arm).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
