Jr. Full Stack Engineer - React (Entry Level) (Remote)

Job_Summary:

The Lifetime Value Co. is an online consumer and business information brand that helps people discover, understand, and use data. They are seeking a skilled Jr. Full Stack Engineer to focus on developing and enhancing the front-end aspects of their web products while also supporting Ruby on Rails APIs. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to key architectural decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Be a part of the team that is responsible for both front-end and back-end development to support product innovation, rapid testing and feature implementation.
• Translate design concepts into responsive and interactive web interfaces.
• Engage in code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to a continuous learning environment.
• Contribute ideas for the continuous evolution of our stack and identify areas for improvement proactively.
• Primarily work within our front-end stack but also have the opportunity to dive into one or more of our Ruby on Rails APIs.

Qualifications:

-Required:

• University Degree in Computer Science or related field; ideally with some professional experience.
• 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer using REACT.
• Basic understanding of how RESTful APIs work
• Basic understanding of best practices for code development.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a 'leave it better than you found it' mindset.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks, and to share knowledge with the team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• English - Proficient level

-Preferred:

• Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus, but not a requirement
