Position Overview

As the visual storyteller at the heart of The Harris Poll, you will champion a unified look and feel across every touchpoint—marketing campaigns, client deliverables, and public‑facing assets alike. Working remotely from anywhere in the United States, you’ll extend our brand guidelines and transform complex data into captivating graphics, videos, and presentation templates that bring insights to life.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Production

  • Create clear, engaging graphics—charts, infographics, social tiles, and more.
  • Produce short‑form videos (e.g., highlight reels, webinar snippets) that amplify our research stories.
  • Build and maintain branded templates for decks, reports, and other client‑facing materials.

Data Visualization

  • Partner with research teams to distill polling data and insights into compelling visual narratives.
  • Select the optimal visualization style for each story, ensuring accuracy and aesthetic appeal.

Innovation & Trend Monitoring

  • Stay current on design trends, animation techniques, and emerging tools to elevate our visual output.

Qualifications

  • Portfolio showcasing data‑centric design work (charts, dashboards, motion graphics, or animations).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with Canva, Sketch, Figma, or other design platforms is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of web/UI/UX best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in graphic design, data visualization, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience translating polling or quantitative research into narrative visuals is strongly valued.

Compensation

To meet pay‑transparency standards nationwide, the targeted base salary range for this role is USD $80,000 – $90,000.
